Pedestrian safety campaign launches
30 people killed while walking in Marion County in 2015 A coalition working to make Indianapolis more pedestrian-friendly unveiled a new safety education campaign today in one of Marion County’s most dangerous areas for walkers. At the intersection of 34th Street and Moeller Road, WalkWays, which is a partnership of Health by Design, the City of Indianapolis and the Marion County Public Health Department, shared campaign components, including ads on IndyGo buses, yard signs and social media graphics.
